Hi Everyone,

I wanted to catch you up on what has happened recently and give you dad’s new contact information.

Unfortunately, dad suffered a mild stroke just as he was making great progress recovering from the heart operation.  While the stroke was not major it has affected his speech a little and his interest in reading and staying in touch with his many friends.

Here is dad’s new phone number 301-949-2999, it will be active by Wednesday afternoon.  We have moved him to a beautiful independent living facility that also has assisted and nursing care if he should need it.  His new apartment is in a beautiful neighborhood with lots of trees and nature and within a few minutes of both Bridget and I.  We encourage you to call and even visit.  His apartment is lovely with great common areas and beautiful wraparound porches.
