Weekly newsletter keeps you up to date on USMC news

Published by kvstark on

The newly launched Marine Corps Connection (MCC) is a weekly e-newsletter that keeps readers up-to-date on the latest headlines relevant to the Marine Corps, upcoming events, and highlights Marines who are doing incredible things in the “Heroes of the Week” feature.  To create the newsletter, our community relations team evaluates the week’s top headlines and searches for all articles that will be of interest to anyone with ties to the U.S. Marine Corps.

They are hoping this newsletter will provide valuable information to Marines as well as retired Marines, family members, and friends.

The most recent issue of the MCC can be found here: http://marines.mil/community/Pages/MarineCorpsConnectionNewsletter.aspx.

Also planned each week, we will select community events to feature in our newsletter that is currently distributed to nearly 2,000 recipients as well as forwarded via numerous Marine Corps Associations and to the retired General Officers of the Marine Corps.

Additionally, MCC will be starting a new column called FYSA, which will provide readers with information on how the Marine Corps can be involved in their communities.  FYSA will answer community-relations questions such as how to request fly-overs or Marine Corps band performances.
