Dustin Sholl, a Marine Attack Squadron 311 plane captain, is greeted by his daughter Julianna and his wife Kristen Friday on the flight line here after returning from a deployment to Iraq. Sholl was one of approximately 170 Marines from VMA-311 and Marine Aviation Logistics Squadron 13 who recently returned from the six-month deployment.

Neal, who was previously stationed at Marine Corps Logistics Base Albany, is presented a folded U.S. American flag Saturday by 1st Sgt. Jeffery J. Kirby, Inspector and Instructor first sergeant, Detachment Two, Supply Company, 4th Supply Battalion, as Neal’s sons Trevor, 15, and Tyshon, 10, look on.  The flag was presented in honor of Neal’s faithful service and dedication to God, country, and Corps.  The Neal family requested that his memory be honored by auto drivers becoming more aware of motorcyclists.  Neal died following a motorcycle accident in Miami, Fla., April 30.
