Digital/Design Production Editor wanted

This is a multi-faceted and fast-paced position. The digital/design production editor will assist the entire editorial team with the selection and formatting of photos and charts, building and management of daily websites and email alerts. In addition, the digital/design production editor will create RealShare, Real Estate Forum, GlobeSt.com and Custom-Content promotions. Reporting directly to the VP of Integrated Marketing, the Digital/Design Production Editor will support the editorial team by ensuring all content meets style guidelines and is enhanced with SEO keywords and searchable headlines.

Responsibilities:

. Assist in Email alert building, testing and deploying process for all AM, Weekly, Breaking News, and Special Focus alerts.

. Work with editors/writers/reporters in the selection, formatting and placement of photos/charts.

. Work with reporters to ensure their articles are well-written.

. Daily monitoring of website to ensure each section contains timely content and relevant images.

. Write headlines and rewrite captions decks as necessary.

. Main contact for CMS vendor help desk; manage and communicate all design/development/production changes with marketing and editorial teams.

. Editing and posting of custom content videos; building of dedicated thought leader landing pages and content sections.

. Ensure quality and consistency of charts, completeness of photography.

. Assist in daily production of event web pages and promotional emails.

. Assist in the design and editing of conference collateral – brochures, programs, signage, etc.

. Monitor, measure and communicate results of our social media and SEO initiatives.

. Prepare monthly metric reports containing content goals by editor and section; monitor output on a weekly basis.

. Liaison between editorial, marketing, art, sales, and other department staffs.

Requirements:

. Superior organizational, communication, presentation and detail-oriented production skills

. Will be deadline conscious, and able to handle multiple assignments

. Will have ability to proof read for spelling, grammar, accuracy and clarity of final copy

. Will have good creative sense with ability to design on and off computer

. Will be highly motivated and willing to take initiative to creatively solve problems

. HTML skills necessary, experience with photo editing, Photoshop experience

. Will be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite 5 and HTML

. Will be computer literate in Microsoft Office Suite

. Will have experience with social media platforms like Twitter, Linked-In and Facebook

. Will have working knowledge of SEO

. Experience working in commercial real estate is a plus

. Final Cut Pro or other video editing software experience is a plus

. Working knowledge of Omniture Site Catalyst is a plus

Salary range: $55,000 to $60,000
