The Donald L. Dickson Memorial Award was presented to Jack Paxton, during the 2010 USMCCCA Conference. The plaque reads:
In the five years as USMCCCA and Foundation Executive Director Jack Paxton has worked closely with officers and boards of both bodies to help guide the transition to today’s efficient and productive operations.

Jack has worked diligently to attract conference sponsors, Journal advertisers and member contributions as well as being frugal on the expense side.
The assets of the Association and Foundation have more than doubled during his tenure.

Through hard work and determination in tracking membership renewals and aggressively seeking new member opportunities, Association membership has shown a gain over the past five years.

Jack has excelled in editing Now Hear This, oversight of the informative, interactive website and outstanding planning and coordination in publishing the a annual Conference Journal.

Jack’s contributions in these areas along with his everyday performance as Executive Director make him eminently deserving of this special recognition by his peers.
