After skipping a year due to the global pandemic, the United States Marine Corps Combat Correspondents Association (USMCCCA) announces the 2021 MCRD | COMMSTRAT | USMCCCA SYMPOSIUM to be held Aug. 22-28, 2021 at the Florida Hotel and Conference Center in Orlando.

This gathering which will adhere to all recommended pandemic safety guidelines, will include vital occupational field training and networking for the Marine Corps Recruiting Command, Communication Strategy and Operations and the United States Marine Corps Combat Correspondents Association. The best Marine Corps Storytellers in one place, getting better.

One of the highlights of the week long event is the annual awards banquet where we honor the winners of the Visual Information and Excellence in Communication (VIEC) awards. The winners may receive plaques, certificates and the accolades of their peers.

In addition to daily training, (schedule to be announced later) there will be time to relax in the evening at the hospitality suite, play some games and bond with other storytellers, past and present. The hotel is attached to the Florida Mall so there are ample restaurants within walking distance.
