Stavisky: Sam Stavisky, Denig Demon, dies at 93

Sam Stavisky, author of Marine Combat Correspondent: World War II in the Pacific, and a veteran Washington Post staffer, was one of the original Denig’s Demons. He died Sunday morning at 93. Funeral will be held in Washington Thursday, September 25 with burial at Arlington National Cemetery.
